Upcoming Reading on January 21st, 2018

I’m super excited to read my pieceĀ What Was Left, which will be published in the Winter 2018 edition of Little Patuxent Review.

I hope to see familiar faces, as well as new ones at Oliver’s Carriage House, which is an absolutely stunning venue. There will be light fare and mingling after the reading.

5410 Leaf Trader Way, Columbia, MD 21044 @ 2pm.

Have a happy and healthy holiday season and can’t wait to see you all in 2018!

A new online literature magazine has hit the scene – Buddy! It’s first issue has just been published, and I’m proud to have the opportunity to have my non-fiction piece FREEDOM published alongside a bunch of other talented writers.

The magazine is composed of creative writing of all types about mental health, including “a range of psych-social-biological concerns”.

I love the open dialogue this magazine creates, and the broad topics it covers from suicide, clinical depression, schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, and much more. It all feels foreign, yet oh so familiar. Reading another person’s interpretation and tale makes it more comfortable, less stigmatic.

And to all my fellow writing friends – they are now open to submissions for Issue 2.

Please share the word, like/follow the pages – this is a great magazine highlighting long needed conversations.
