Shannon Tsonis lives in York Pennsylvania with her husband and daughter, after spending most of her life in Baltimore Maryland.
She has a B.S. degree from Towson University in Electronic Media and Film, and an M.B.A from University of Baltimore in Marketing.
Her passion for writing unsolved true-crime stems from her own family history with cold cases. In 1989, Tsonis’ mother Teresa was murdered, following documented instances of domestic violence. DNA evidence is currently being prepared for testing. However, as of this writing, her killer has not been brought to justice.
She is currently finishing up her first memoir, and you can find more of her non-fiction published in Little Patuxent Review, Buddy, Crack the Spine, Memoir Magazine, and anthologized in The Ocotillo Review.
She also has a featured column with WPMG- TV Pittsburgh called DEAD ENDS, where she highlights unsolved cases in Pennsylvania.
